One Month Check Up

Oh how the time flies. 
The six-month treatment protocol was a roller coaster for us as doggy parents, though Honey handled it so splendidly. Now, we’re a month out from that treatment and she’s in for her check-up.
She’s looking great. She’s feeling great. And boy is she excited to be back at the vet amongst her friends.
It’s so hard to put into words how grateful we are for each moment, each day. And seven months after an earth-rocking diagnosis, we’re optimistic that we’ve been given more time with our baby.
There are even moments when we forget about the cancer, forget about the timeline.
Time is a treasure and tomorrow is not certain.
We must make the most of now. Snuggle your babies. I’m off to snuggle mine. 🙂
